Motor not running

A drive can be controlled in different ways and there are many potential reasons why the motor is not starting when it is supposed to.

Possible causes:

  • Service switch open or missing motor connection

  • Wrong reference signal source

  • Missing start signal (Standby)

  • Motor coast signal active (Coasting)

  • No mains power with 24 V DC option card

  • LCP stop

Try this solution

Connect the motor and check the service switch

Test:
Check if the motor is connected and the connection is not interrupted by a service switch or other device.
